ChatGetz API for developers

Quick start

1. Sign in and open Dashboard → API keys.
2. Create a key with the permissions you need and copy it (it is shown only once).
3. Send it in the Authorization header: Bearer cgk_…

Authentication and scopes

Every request needs a personal API key in the Authorization: Bearer cgk_… header (or X-API-Key). Each key has its own permissions (scopes) and rate limit and can be revoked at any time.

Keep keys on your server or in plugin settings, never in public front-end code. ChatGetz stores only a SHA-256 hash of each key.

Limits and pricing

• Global Pro: unlimited API requests.
• Basic: 1,000 requests per month (resets on the 1st, Tashkent time).
• Accounts without a plan have no API access.
• Each key has its own rate limit (10–120 requests per minute). Over the limit the API answers 429 with a Retry-After header.
• AI text generation is charged by the public price list: first from your monthly AI allowance, then from your ChatGetz balance.
• Send an Idempotency-Key header with AI requests: a retried request with the same key is never charged twice.

Plugins push new orders and leads to POST /api/v1/ingest/events. Resending an event with the same source, type and externalId is safe: it is stored only once.

Errors

Errors are JSON with a stable machine-readable code and an English message. Build your integration on the code.

Plugins

All plugins are open source (GPL-compatible) and use your API key. The key is stored in the plugin settings, never in the code.
